Bath and nap time?

When photographing a baby--especially on location--it's all about going with the flow and having a great time with whatever happens. The last photo sort of sums it all up for this session.

Risa and her parents were all ready for a sweet, snugly bath and bed time photo shoot. We got some of that, but this little one had something much more, say, dynamic in mind!

Too much fun. Memories for a lifetime.

"It's like deja vu all over again"

I recently met with a couple about their upcoming daytime wedding at Montview Presbyterian with the celebration planned for Hotel Monaco. I thought to myself, "This is like deja vu all over again," as Yogi Berra might have said. I knew I had already photographed this exact agenda once before, down to the same day and times. It's true that no two weddings are nearly the same, but in this case the locations and agenda were almost exact. Of course, I had to come home and dig out the photos from the previous wedding I photographed at these locations. I was reminded just how much fun we had that day.

Thank you Lisa & Ben for a fantastic and hysterical time. I'll never forget Ben's not-so-hip, retro eye wear.

Kristen & Derek

Here are a few shots from Kristen and Derek's engagement session. I was thinking about them, wondering how the wedding planning is coming along since their date is only a few weeks out, so I decided to call. After exchanging a couple voice mails, I learned that everything is coming along perfectly and that the invitations are in the mail.

Kristen is always so cheerful and easy going. I am really excited about her's and Derek's wedding, especially knowing they both have lots of family that'll be coming together for the first time. They both have such a light-hearted attitude about everything which can be a real challenge to keep up when putting together a large event with many of out-of-town guests. Hang in there guys!

The excitement is building!!

Welcome Abigail!

Proud parents of little baby Abigail, Julie and Brian, honored us with the opportunity to be the first to professionally photograph their two-week-old daughter. It was a true pleasure to be chosen for such and important event in a child's life. No doubt there will be many thousands of photos taken of little Abigail as she grows up, but these are her first and document her earliest days at home with Mom and Dad.

Thank you, Julie and Brian, from the bottom of our hearts. Abigail is absolutely precious and we can't wait to see her again in the coming months.
